All who live or come to Gdańsk, Gdynia or Sopot are invited to our high climbing wall.

A very easy-to-use self-belay system will allow you to climb without having to learn advanced belaying and use climbing equipment. Our operators will teach you how to use it safely, even if you have never climbed before

Safety is our priority. If you are a beginner, our operators will give you all the instructions necessary to make your climbing adventure safe. However, regardless of your level of experience, remember that your and your partner's safety depends on following the rules of safe climbing.

All you need is comfortable, sports clothes and sports shoes for a change, though we suggest you the climbing shoes, which will make your climbing easier. The climbing shoes and other necessary equipment can be rented on site.

MONO Belay School

Self-belay climbing is a great option to start climbing without having to learn how to belay a partner. However, if you want to belay your partner on the rope, you need training that will allow you to do it safely. We conduct such training only in small groups of up to 4 people and offer it to both complete beginners and those who need a refresher or polishing the skills of safe climbing on a rod. Remember: belaying with a rope is your responsibility for your partner, do not try it without prior training under the guidance of an instructor.

For the little ones

Our climbing wall is a place where you will spend unforgettable moments with your child. You will find climbing obstacles built especially for the youngest and available for children as young as 5 years old. Older children can enjoy competing on more difficult, but also designed especially for children, roads.

Will I be able to belay my child?

You do not have to do that. On the routes dedicated for children there are auto belay devices. Using them, after prior instruction, is very easy and you will be able to handle them perfectly in such a way that your child is completely safe. Our staff will be at your disposal all the time if you need any help. However, if you would like to belay your child yourself, consider MONO Belay School, first to do it safely.

Can my child learn to climb?

Of course, as long as it is over 5 years old and has at least 95 cm tall. We organize climbing sections for children from 6 years of age, conducted under the professional supervision of instructors, specialists in working with the youngest. During classes, children learn climbing in a way adapted to their age. And during this time you can enjoy our delicious coffee at MONO Cafe!
